Study Abroad
If you want to take your horizons to a truly global scale, then the university's Study Abroad scheme is for you.
If you take part, you'll be able to spend a year studying at a university in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore or the United States of America.
I thought it was amazing that you could study for your degree while simultaneously being able to travel and see the world… Studying abroad requires you to jump out of your comfort zone but the new experiences you will have abroad will be invaluable!

European Exchanges
The School of English has a number of departmental links with excellent universities in Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Switzerland. You can choose to study at one of our European partner institutions for a year.
All of our partner universities have classes available in English but you can also take advantage of the opportunity to learn a new language or enhance your existing skills.
We have agreements with the following partner universities:

Short-term international experiences
Summer schools
Summer schools give you the chance to study abroad during the summer break. Some degrees offer field trips. We also offer support for students who volunteer internationally and undertake work placements abroad. You can find out more on the Global Opportunities website.
Global Summer Experience
If you are a home student and achieve at least A*, A, A in your A levels (or equivalent), the University of 91̽»¨ will pay for travel costs to and from an overseas summer school, on top of your tuition and accommodation during the experience.

English with languages
If you take one of our dual degree programmes with the School of Languages and Cultures, you’ll spend a year studying or working in a country appropriate to your chosen language.
