Our Aims:

  • Build a community of apprentices, employers and staff, to develop outstanding apprenticeship education at the University of 91̽»¨. 
  • Support the development of cohesive, high quality apprenticeship education that is aligned to regional and national skills priorities.
  • Provide senior leaders with oversight of the  quality of education and whether the apprenticeships are fully compliant with external regulatory bodies requirements.

  • Favour no single approach: promote solutions that meet the needs of departments while contributing to outstanding provision

  • Be guided by the principles of the inspection framework and ESFA Funding rules
  • Provide clarity: simplify funding rules and inspection framework  and make them meaningful
