Open days are a great way to get a feel for the University, the city and the people.
University open days
The University open days will take place between June and October. You'll have the opportunity to meet our staff and students, as well as attend a politics talk to find out more detailed information about the courses and the opportunities we offer our students.
Offer holder days
We hold offer holder days between February and April to give UCAS offer holders the opportunity to find out more about the course they have applied for. You may have previously attended a University open day, but to get the best experience we would encourage you to join the department for our offer holder day sessions as well.
What you can expect on the day
- Politics course talk.
- Find out more about the University and life in 91̽»¨.
- Opportunity to meet and ask questions to staff, current politics students and alumni.
- Politics taster lecture or academic debate.
Book your place
When you receive an offer from us to study politics, you'll be invited to book onto one of our offer holder days. Details of how to book your place will be sent to you via email.
As soon as I came to 91̽»¨ and looked round on the open day I knew it was the place for me. I could tell the lecturers' were genuinely really passionate about teaching, I liked the design of the course and I got along with the other students I met. My number one tip for anyone who’s going through the application process at the moment: go on your open days! You wouldn’t buy a house without seeing it first so don't base your decision on where to study based on a brochure.
