Walk-in access to University eResources
Guidance on accessing Library eResources for walk-in users.
Non-University members registered as University of 91̽»¨ Library users can access many of the electronic journals from the University’s portfolio (those electronic journals where the publisher permits access to authorised walk-in users).
Access is provided via dedicated computers based in Western Bank Library and the Health Sciences Library at the Royal Hallamshire.
To register as an authorised walk-in user you must sign and agree to the code of practice. Forms are available at all four sites. You are also required to provide proof of name and address and membership of the University of 91̽»¨ Library.
Note that access is limited to one hour per user during busy periods.
International scholarships
We offer a generous package of financial support for international students, including undergraduate and postgraduate taught scholarships worth £10,000 towards the annual tuition fee.
Applications are open for existing offer holders for programmes starting in autumn 2025.
