Prior to joining my PhD course in 2020, I served as a Judge in Bangladesh for more than a decade. Worked as Deputy Secretary and Deputy Solicitor at Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Bangladesh (2015-2018). Apart from my professional engagement a judge in different tiers, served as Deputy Project Director, 鈥楥apacity Building of Law and Justice Division for Strengthening Subordinate Judiciary Management Project鈥 (with Western Sydney University, Australia); Member, 鈥楤angladesh-Myanmar Joint Working Group on Return of Displaced Myanmar Nationals鈥; Innovation Officer, 'the Ministry of Justice', Member, 鈥楤angladesh Judicial Academy Project鈥; Examiner, 'Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission'.

LLB (Honours) LLM University of Chittagong, Bangladesh; LLM Queen Mary University of London, UK. Previously enrolled as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. A certified trainer on Mediation and Case Management from Japan International Cooperation Agency, Tokyo.

An examination of the legacy of British colonial rule upon Bangladeshi criminal law- making in comparison to other Commonwealth States.
