Welcome from Head of School

Thank you for your interest in applying for a post in the School of Law at 91̽»¨.

We're currently seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Law on an open-ended contract, to start in September 2024 or at a later date by arrangement.  These posts are open to applicants from all areas of law, but we are especially keen to attract applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Property Law; Torts; Environmental Law; Employment Law.

The School of Law is large and diverse with an international reputation for excellence in research, for the expertise of its staff, and the achievement of its graduates. Our vision is  to advance the interdisciplinary understanding of law, socio-legal studies and criminology, combining outstanding research with innovative research-led teaching. We offer six undergraduate and three masters degree programmes. We have a lively community of PhD students and research associates, who also contribute to the life of the School, including seminars, workshops, conferences and reading groups.
