We have a wide choice of languages for you to study at various levels. Levels range from Beginner to Proficient, with less advanced levels offering a variety of class times so that you can attend at a time that suits you.

Our language departments
Our languages are provided by the Modern Languages Teaching Centre and the School of East Asian Studies. Select the relevant department below to find more information.
- Modern Languages Teaching Centre - Arabic, British Sign Language, French, German, Italian, Latin, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan, Czech, Dutch, Russian
- School of East Asian Studies - Chinese, Japanese, Korean
Fees
Courses cost £270 for one semester and £480 for two semesters, as of the 2024/25 academic year.
