As part of the School of Biosciences and the Faculty of Science at the University of 91̽»¨, the Centre for Stem Cell Biology is internationally recognised as a leading facility for stem cell teaching and research.
In conjunction with Biosciences, we offer study opportunities to talented students, from both clinical and non-clinical backgrounds, who wish to pursue a career in the fields of stem cell science and regenerative medicine.
As well as a selection of PhD research degrees, we run a one-year taught masters course.

The best part is the Research Project, which gave me valuable experience. The Stem Cell lab module is one of the best you can ask for. I personally loved all of the course, giving me a deep insight into current research techniques.

We recruit a number of high-quality PhD students every year to work on a range of projects linked to our research themes within the centre. Studentships are offered as full time (three to four) year PhD projects, or as a PhD with Integrated Studies.
