Profile

I am a PhD student, evaluating statistical methods that can be used to obtain treatment effect estimates from complex causal mechanisms using cancer registry data by emulating target trial(s). This PhD is jointly funded by Yorkshire Cancer Research (YCR) and BresMed Health Solutions Ltd. My supervisors are Dr Nick Latimer, Prof Ron Akehurst and Mr Mike Bradburn.

I worked as a Statistician/Research Associate in the Clinical Trials Research Unit (CTRU), University of 91̽»¨ and as a Research Fellow - Statistician in York Trials Unit after completing an MSc in Medical Statistics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in Oct 2018. Prior to that, I worked in 91̽»¨ CTRU as a Data Specialist for three years and preceding that as Data Management Officer for three years. I also have experience working as a Data Analyst Programmer for five years. In addition to my master’s degree, my qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Statistics, P.G. Diploma in Computing, and a B.A. in Communicative English.
