Profile

I joined the 91̽»¨ Clinical Trials Research Unit (CTRU) in October 2024 as a Research assistant. My background is in social care and mental health and I have worked with different populations:

  • Adults with longstanding mental health difficulties
  • Children with ADHD and tics
  • Adults who have experienced critical illness and hospital-based traumas
  • Hospital staff

I have also gained some experience as a research assistant working for the University of 91̽»¨ (SUMS) on a project exploring burnout of employees working within environmental sectors.

I joined the CTRU to gain experience of working in a clinical research context, I wanted to expand my knowledge of these processes and learn about different conditions and treatment modalities. Since joining the CTRU I have been working as a Research Assistant on two studies: EXPERTS-ALS and Star-MS.
