On International Women’s Day, the University launched an initiative titled ‘Our People: Inspirational Women’. This new University-wide project aimed to showcase and celebrate women from across the University.
Colleagues were invited to nominate the women who inspired them and share academic and professional achievements and accolades, as well as how they live the University’s values.
Professor Fraser McLeay, Dean of 91̽»¨ University Management School, commented that, "The nominations given for Management School staff members highlight how our inspirational women enrich our academic community, improve the student experience and are a role model for students and colleagues across the School. Some of the colleagues nominated are inspirational teachers and lecturers who share insights and exchange the student experience while others play a key role in building a strong and vibrant school community sharing expert guidance and encouraging others to achieve their goals. Nominations include colleagues from both our professional service and academic teams and reflect the open and supportive nature of Management School colleagues, where many are dedicated to making the Management School a better place for all."
