Profile

I have a library background, and prior to joining the University I worked for seven years in Merseyside public libraries. During this time, I graduated from the University of Wales with an honours degree in Linguistics.

I joined the higher education sector when I moved to 91̽»¨ in 2000, and began work at the University as a Course Administrator in the School of Health and Related Research, dealing with all aspects of teaching administration, including admissions, marketing, student progress, pastoral care and course development. During this time I undertook postgraduate study and gained an MEd in E-Learning from the University of 91̽»¨.

I joined the Information School in 2006 as Academic Support Officer, and took on responsibility for a number of staff and School administrative processes. In 2009 I was appointed Teaching and Learning Manager, with managerial responsibility for the School’s Teaching Support Team and teaching and learning administration.
