Dr Sara Memarpour Hobbi
BSc, MRes, PhD
School of Clinical Dentistry
Postdoctoral Research Associate
- Profile
-
Sara completed her PhD in a collaborative project between the Neuroscience group in the School of Clinical Dentistry (under Professor Boissonade and Dr Simon Atkins) and the Biomaterials group (under Professor Claeyssens and Professor Haycock) in Materials Science and Engineering department. Her PhD work focused on the development and optimisation of novel nerve guide conduits for peripheral nerve repair, focusing on the pro-regenerative role of extracellular matrix components.
Sara is currently employed as a PDRA in Professor Boissonade’s Research Group, working on a Pain Centre Versus Arthritis project investigating the role of chemokine lymphotactin in osteoarthritis pain.
